Focus is a powerful image editor: you can use it to produce
stunning graphics for the Web, the Home and the Office or to
adjust, improve and correct your digital photos acquired with
the help of a scanner or through your preferred digital
camera: with its many image regulation abilities the program
is also a strong and professional tool for both the beginner
and serious photographer.
Learning to use Focus is not difficult: The user interface is
designed for those having an average knowledge of digital
editing, and there are automatic settings to help you get
started.
You'll be able to browse pictures in your PC, import them,
and start to work in an extremely friendly environment.Any
time you need to save a picture to file, you'll be able to
choose among several different output formats: you can also
preview and adjust the desired output quality when saving to
some compressed formats like Jpg.
In Focus Photoeditor you will find all the tools and features
of top image-editors : the program supports " object type "
layers and fully editable text layers: it is possible to
convert a text layer into an image layer in every moment you
need to. And you can save all your work (image and text
layers included) to a project file to resume it later.
There is also support for 8 bit selections, that can be
created in several different ways.
Focus is also an excellent painting program, with one of the
best set of retouch tools on the market. You'll be able to
use different brushes and make your own. Also textures,
gradients and patterns are available. Further Focus adopts
the "antialias concept" in all of its editing tools.
Many excellent filters, expecially those concerning color
manipulation, will give you many options to create unique
graphics.
Focus already supports many standards like importing and
exporting 32bit objects from and to PNG files. It also has
standard Twain interface that lets you acquire pictures with
your preferred scanner software. You can also choose to
associate pictures in your PC to be opened with Focus
Photoeditor, any time you click them from explorer.
Other important characteristics are that you can open and
edit many pictures at the same time, so your productivity is
greatly enhanced.
